Ficus Benjamina Shadow V explores the botanical shadow through an elongated landscape composition and a palette of softened pinks, peaches, and reds. Though warm in color, the muted, desaturated tones create a subtle, almost-neutral effect. The long horizontal format emphasizes the sweeping movement of the shadow, while the repurposed frame gives an existing object a new life through color, shape, and the interplay of light and form.
